IS THIS COURSE FOR YOU? If you have never studied the Lithuanian language before, or if you studied it some time ago and now need a review from the very basics, this course is perfect for you! THIS COURSE IS A GREAT START IF: - You are planning to continue learning Lithuanian until you reach a higher level. - In the future, you will need to take the State Language Exam to obtain Permanent Residence Permit. - Your goal is to speak Lithuanian, and you are also willing to understand how the language works. - You are ready to dedicate time to learning Lithuanian every week. YOU WILL LEARN: How to meet new people and introduce yourself. How to introduce others and talk about them. How to invite others to meet. How to agree on a time and place. How to order drinks and food. How to do groceries at a market. How to talk about food in general. How to say what you were doing. HOW DO ONLINE CLASSES WORK? We will be meeting on Zoom. Our lessons will consist of vocabulary teaching, grammar explanation, interactive games, and speaking and listening tasks. Some activities will take place in the main room, while others will be held in breakout rooms where students will work in small groups or pairs. When students are working in breakout rooms, the teacher will visit each room. WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE? Online lessons will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 PM Lithuanian time. Each lesson will last 90 minutes. The group will consist of no more than 10 students. WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND A LESSON? Every lesson will be recorded, so if you miss a lesson, you can watch the recording to catch up. WILL I NEED TO BUY BOOKS? Yes, we will use a book called “Sėkmės” for our homework. This book can be purchased in printed form or as a PDF. It costs between €18 and €24 and consists of two volumes. We will use the first volume for this course and the second one for continued study later on. You will receive more information about purchasing this book after booking the course. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND HOW DO I PAY? The A1.1 course costs €366. You can reserve your spot on this website by paying a deposit of €122 via credit or debit card. The remaining amount must be paid by November 13, 2024, and can be split into two installments. WHAT'S AFTER THE COURSE? After completing this course, you will be halfway through the A1 level. You can continue with the A1.2 course starting in January 2025 and complete the A1 level just before Easter.

If you choose not to take advantage of these options, you will receive a full refund if you cancel before the course start date and 75% refund if you cancel until 29 September 2024.
